Thought I would share a little progress report on the pumpkin patch to date. Funds are extremely tight so we plan to make as much as we can from reclaimed materials. We built our first play structure this weekend using old tires and a pressure treated fence post. We installed it in my mother’s front yard near the swimming pool so the kids can test it out. I like to think of them as unpaid beta testers. Anyways, they loved it and played on it for hours. I learned a lot in the process, and think I can improve it by next year when we move it into the pumpkin patch.
Here are a few photos of our progress, installation, and of course the smiles!
